A graduate of Wingate University, Shannon McAllister  joined C.A.R.E./The John 3:16 Center in 2005. While completing the coursework for her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, she quickly realized what a tremendous impact students’ home lives have on their academic performance and felt the desire to serve families in need.  In her role as Executive Director, Shannon oversees the Center’s daily operations, fundraising, programming, and community outreach opportunities.

Brittany Sinka

Brittany S., Assistant Director A native of the Roanoke Valley, Brittany Sinka joined C.A.R.E./The John 3:16 Center in 2014.  Brittany’s deep connection to the community and desire to help those in need led her to earning degrees in both Human Services and Psychology. As Assistant Director, she manages all aspects of the Center’s programming. Brittany is always evaluating program offerings for their effectiveness. She loves meeting new clients and working with their children to further both their academic and spiritual growth.

Morgan Carter

After School Program Coordinator

MorganA lifelong Warren County resident currently working towards a bachelors in Elementary Education through UNC Wilmington. *Go Seahawks!!!!* Meanwhile, the passion she has for rural student success, both academically and socially is being put to great use with our “Wired For Success” program as the after school coordinator. Some of her obligations include developing spiritual and educational lessons for our youth, guiding volunteers to better meet the needs of each student, and maintaining a safe, fun environment for all.
